Sheezan Khan’s life took a drastic turn in December 2022 after his Ali Baba co-star Tunisha Sharma was found hanging. On Monday, Khan took to his Instagram stories and dropped a cryptic post in which he talked about “being silent”. The post comes a day after Tunisha’s first death anniversary.
“Uske nazdeek gham-e-tark-wafa kuchh bhi nahi. Mutmaeen aise hai woh jaise hua kuchh bhi nahi. Main toh iss waaste chup hoon ke tamasha na bane. Woh samajhta hai mujhe tujhse gila kuchh bhi nahi,” he wrote.
Sheezan Khan’s Ali Baba co-star Tunisha Sharma was found hanging in her makeup room on December 24 last year. Khan was arrested on December 25, 2022, after Tunisha’s mother accused him of abetment to suicide and claimed that the actor ‘used’ her daughter. Reportedly, Khan and Sharma broke up just 15 days before the latter’s death. However, Sheezan was granted bail in March this year.
Earlier this year, Sheezan revealed he would cry for hours even after getting back home and wasn’t able to sleep properly. “I broke down when my bail plea was rejected in January, fearing that I could be languishing inside for a year or more. After being released on bail, I couldn’t sleep properly for 70 days. I felt like a stranger in my own home and would often cry for hours. I was diagnosed with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I’m grateful to my family for standing by me through this ordeal,” he told E-Times.
Recalling the time he spent in jail, Sheezan described the prison as a ‘place that breaks you’ and added, “Every minute feels endless. It is bizarre to see people fretting over trivial issues. Irrespective of the gravity of one’s problems, everything ceases to matter when you have a bed, blanket and pillow to sleep on. You can’t be more fortunate than that. I had to come out of that place sane.”
On the work front, Sheezan Khan participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 earlier this year. Besides this, he also joined “Chand Jalne Laga” recently.
