Soon-to-be-married Randeep Hooda And Lin Laishram Seek blessing At A Temple In Imphal; Watch

Randeep Hooda is all set get married to his lady love Lin Laishram tomorrow. Ahead of their wedding, they have reached Manipur to kick start the festivities. On Tuesday, the lovebirds visited the famous Govindaji temple at Imphal to seek blessings for their special day. Post their wedding, reportedly they will be having a wedding reception in Mumbai.

While speaking to PTI, the actor said, “I pray for a happy future, peace for Manipur and everywhere in the world, a happy married life and many more things. I hope I get them.” The Sarbjit actor was also asked if other Bollywood celebs are expected to attend the wedding, to which he said, “It’s just me.” When asked if he is feeling nervous about the pre-wedding festivities, he shared, “Well, everybody is.”

Randeep and Lin Laishram have been quite private about their relationship. They do drop glimpses of their moments together on several occasions on social media platforms. Confirming their wedding date, they issued a joint statement on Instagram.

The statement read, “Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjuna married Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, We are getting married with the blessings from our families and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29th of November 2023, Imphal, Manipur followed by a reception in Mumbai. As we set to embark on this journey, we seek your blessings and love for this union of cultures, for which we are forever indebted and grateful. IN LOVE AND LIGHT, LIN & RANDEEP.”

A source close to the wedding told Hindustan Times, “The wedding will only be attended by family members and close friends. After the wedding, they will be hosting a reception for their industry friends and everyone close to them in Mumbai. However, the date for reception is not yet decided. Randeep is a private person, and he doesn’t want the media attention for the wedding. And that is one of the reasons he is going to Manipur to get married. Another big reason is because he wants to start the new chapter of his life at a place from where his lady love is”.

Moreover, Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram’s wedding will also have a mythological touch to it, Arjuna—one of the five Pandava brothers—visited Manipura and married Chitrangada, the princess of the kingdom and it finds mention in the announcement post. As per the source, “That is the theme of their wedding”.
