2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Launch Live: Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the 2023 Nexon facelift and Nexon EV facelift today in India.

Tata Motors is all set to announce the price of the highly-anticipated 2023 Tata Nexon facelift and Nexon EV facelift today in the country.

Introduction

This iconic SUV has firmly held its place as India’s favorite for two consecutive fiscal years, with a staggering 172,139 units sold in FY23 and 124,130 units in FY22. With a host of impressive updates and enhancements, the new Nexon is geared up to shine even brighter than its predecessor.

Tata Nexon Facelift 2023: Features

The 2023 Nexon facelift has undergone a striking transformation, both on the outside and inside. The design highlights include bi-functional LED headlamps,  LED DRLs, redesigned bumpers, connected LED taillamps, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The cabin boasts of dual-tone upholstery, a three-tone dashboard with a leather mid-pad, and front seats featuring ventilated leatherette with a leatherette armrest. The two-spoke steering wheel, adorned with an illuminated logo, adds a touch of elegance.

Tata Nexon Facelift 2023: Pricing and Variants

While the original Tata Nexon had a price range starting from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 14.60 lakh (ex-showroom), there have been rumors suggesting that the base model could see a price reduction to Rs 7.39 lakh.

The Nexon EV was previously available in two variants – Prime and Max, with prices ranging from Rs 14.49 lakh to Rs 19.54 lakh (ex-showroom). With all the updates and improvements, the Nexon EV facelift might now fall within the price range of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.

Tata Nexon Facelift 2023: Engine and Performance

Underneath the hood, the 2023 Nexon facelift retains the formidable engine options of its predecessor. You have the choice of the Revotron 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, delivering a powerful 120 bhp and 170 Nm of torque, or the Revotorq 1.5-litre diesel engine, boasting 115 bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque. For the petrol variant, transmission options include a 5-speed MT and 7-speed DCA, alongside the existing 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT choices. Meanwhile, the diesel variant continues to offer the reliable 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT choices.

Tata Nexon Facelift 2023: Safety and Technology

Both the SUVs comes equipped with an impressive array of cutting-edge features. The Nexon facelift flaunts a 10.25-inch floating infotainment system. While the Nexon EV facelift features a bigger 12.3-inch unit. Other features include wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, IRA 2.0 connectivity tech, a capacitive touch panel, and a voice-assisted electric sunroof. The SUVs also get air purifier, a cooled glove box, and a wireless charger.

The safety kit comprises of six airbags, a 360-degree surround view system equipped with front parking sensors, a blind view monitor, ESP, TPMS, and auto headlamps with rain-sensing wipers. The front fog lamps come with a cornering function. Remarkably, the Nexon is India’s very own marvel, earning the prestigious five-star crash test rating from Global NCAP.
