The State Service Exams have been announced by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC). Registration for CGPSC SSE 2023 will begin on December 1, 2023. Eligible applicants can apply for the exam on the official website at psc.cg.gov.in. The application form must be submitted before December 30.
The exam aims to fill in about 242 posts on the commission across different categories. After the registration window closes, registered candidates will be allowed to revise their submitted applications from December 31 to January 3.
According to the notification, candidates for recruitment will be shortlisted through a multi-stage selection process that includes a preliminary examination, a main examination, and interviews. According to the official schedule, the Chhattisgarh State Services Preliminary Exam 2023 will be held on February 11, 2024, by the CGPSC.
The exam will be administered in two shifts. The first shift of the exam will be held from 10 am to noon, and the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm. Candidates who pass the CGPSC State Services Preliminary Exam will be eligible to take the main exam. The CGPSC Mains 2023 test is expected to be held on June 13, 14, 15, and 16.
Candidates who have graduated from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the CGPSC State Services Exam 2023. Candidates in their last year of degree courses, as well as those from outside Chhattisgarh, can apply for the exam. Candidates in the general category must obtain 33 per cent minimum marks, while candidates in the reserved category must obtain 23 per cent minimum marks to be eligible for the exams.
Candidates from outside Chhattisgarh will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 400 when enrolling for the Chhattisgarh State Services Exam 2023. There is no registration fee for aspirants within the state. Only debit cards, credit cards, and net banking are accepted for payment. Candidates who make modifications to their application form must pay a correction charge of Rs 500.
