JEE Main 2024: NTA Lowers Application Fees for EWS, OBC Applicants, Check Details
JEE Main 2024: According to the information booklet, the NTA has also lowered the JEE Main 2024 application fees for applicants from outside India

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 1 registrations have begun, and interested engineering candidates can register by visiting the official NTA website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, or nta.ac.in. According to the information booklet that was provided, the NTA has also lowered the JEE Main 2024 application fees for applicants from outside India.

Male and female applicants who fall into the general-EWS and OBC-NCL categories and choose to take the JEE Main 2024 at locations outside of India would need to pay Rs 4,500 and Rs 4,000, respectively, according to the updated JEE Main 2024 application fees.  Male applicants from this group who applied from outside of India had to pay a registration fee of Rs 5000 until last year.  The revised fee is applicable to Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech. ), Paper 2A (B. Arch. ), and Paper 2B (B.Planning).

It is important for applicants to these courses to be aware that the deadline for JEE Main 2024 registration and fee payment is November 30. Additionally, applicants can register for the JEE 2024 using a variety of login options. In order to register for JEE Main 2024, aspirants are instructed by the NTA to either setup an account or log in to the following portal. 

–– Using the NAD portal to access your Digi locker account.

–– Via the Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID).

–– PAN card number.

–– Aadhaar enrolment number.

–– Indian passport number 

–– Non-Indian Passport number 

The information booklet further said that applicants will need to show up at the testing facility one hour early on the day of the exam if they choose not to register using their DigiLocker or ABC ID.

JEE Main 2024: How to Register

Step 1: Go to jeemain.nta.ac.in, the official website.

Step 2: Locate the application link from the homepage and click on it.

Step 3: Enter your required information after clicking on “new registration.”

Step 4: Once you’ve obtained the application number and password, use these to log in.

Step 5: Complete the application and upload the required documentation. 

Step 6: Pay the appropriate fees and submit the form.

Step 7: Save the JEE Main 2024 application form for later use.

In accordance with the NTA schedule, JEE Main 2024 hall tickets will be sent out three days before the test, and the advance city intimation slip will be available by the second week of January 2024.
