'Neelam Is On News...': How Family Of Woman Behind Parliament Breach Identified Her
Parliament Breach: The Congress on Wednesday demanded answers from the government and a statement from Home Minister Amit Shah in both houses of Parliament on the "serious security breach" in Lok Sabha

The family of one of the intruders, who breached parliament security on Wednesday, was identified by her family when her footage appeared on the television news channel. The accused’s family confirmed that she was a student in Haryana and was not affiliated with any political organisation.

Neelam, one of the four parliament intruders was taken into custody by the police. She is a student in Haryana’s Hisar and was one of the two who threw the smoke canister outside the parliament building.

According to NDTV, Neelam’s brother, Ramniwas they were unaware of her sister’s plan and came to know about the incident from one of their relatives, who called him to see the TV.

“She studies in Hisar and is not linked with any political party. We don’t know why she did that. We will know only after meeting her. We learned about the incident from one of our brothers, who called us. She came home only two days ago,” the publication quoted Ramniwas as saying.

Neelam’s mother also said she had no idea about her plans and had a conversation with her over the phone in the morning itself.

Parliament Security Breach: Other Accused Identified

Two of the four accused who entered the Lok Sabha have been identified as Sagar Sharma, a resident of Lucknow, and Manoranjan D, 35, a resident of Mysuru in Karnataka. The other accused who popped open the smoke canister outside has been identified as Amol Shinde, 25, from Latur in Maharashtra.

A man has claimed that one of the youngsters arrested in the Parliament breach case was his son, Manoranjan. The man, Devraj, has identified him by looking at the visuals on TV.

Manoranjan is a resident of Mysore and had left three days back, saying he was going to Bengaluru. His father has claimed no links with any organization or political party.

Meanwhile, the Congress on Wednesday demanded answers from the government and a statement from Home Minister Amit Shah in both houses of Parliament on the “serious security breach” in Lok Sabha, saying the incident “did not prove that necessary precautions were not taken.”

For the unversed, two persons jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery during Zero Hour and released yellow gas from canisters. They shouted slogans before being overpowered by MPs.

Around the same time, a man and a woman also sprayed coloured gas from canisters while shouting the slogan ‘tanashahi nahi chalegi’ outside the Parliament premises.
