'Sometimes It's Acting': Mohammad Rizwan's Hilarious Admission When Asked About Cramps; Watch
Mohammad Rizwan struggled with cramps during his match-winning century against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Rizwan had a hilarious response to Simon Doull after his brilliant century against Sri Lanka at the ongoing Cricket World Cup (CWC). Rizwan appeared to be struggling with cramps during the game after he launched a ball for a six in the 37th over of the second innings.

Having hit the shot, the wicketkeeper-batter fell to the ground in pain.

Doull was on commentary duty during the moment. Seeing the player fall in such an animated fashion, he couldn’t control his laughter.

He even said that the middle-order batter should get into the movies.

After the game, Doull enquired Rizwan about the cramps situation on the pitch. Rizwan broke a smile as he said, “Sometimes it’s cramps, sometimes it’s acting.”

Pakistan overcame Sri Lanka by six wickets to clinch their second CWC win in Hyderabad.

Sri Lanka had a brilliant start at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium as Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama notched up centuries in the game.

The Sri Lankan duo’s scintillating performances helped the former champions reach an imposing total of 344 runs.

Pakistan’s Hassan Ali had a good outing with the ball, as he scalped four wickets in the game but he still couldn’t contain Sri Lanka’s relentless batting charge.

Pakistan were off to a shaky start in their chase as Imam-ul-Haq departed in the fourth over. Their star batter Babar Azam also failed to produce any impact, after being dismissed for 10 runs in only 15 balls.

It was Sri Lanka’s Dilshan Madhushanka who picked up both the scalps for his side.

However, Abdullah Shafique and Rizwan took charge of the match, anchoring the innings.

Shafique smashed 113 runs whereas Rizwan racked up an unbeaten 131 in 121 balls.

He smashed eight boundaries and three sixes in the match.

After a poor Asia Cup campaign in Sri Lanka, it finally looks like Pakistan have truly arrived at the World Cup.

They recorded a win in their opener against the Netherlands, beating the Dutch side by 81 runs.

Rizwan produced a fine innings in that game as well, building a partnership with Saud Shakeel and smashing 68 runs in 75 balls.

They are set to face the hosts, India, next on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
