The online application process for the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2024 began on November 10. Candidates can apply for the SRMJEEE 2024 exam by visiting the official website at srmist.edu.in. The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination is held for students seeking admission to BTech programmes at SRM colleges in the country.
According to the official website, the SRMJEEE 2024 exam will be administered in two phases – Phase 1 and 2. The online application process for phase 1 will be open until April 13, 2024. The same will be conducted in remote-protected mode on April 19, 20 and 21. The Phase 2 application process will conclude on June 15 with the entrance exam scheduled on June 21, 22, and 23.
SRMJEEE 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Students applying for the SRMJEEE 2024 exam must have a minimum aggregate of 60 per cent in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, or in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practises, or Engineering Graphics. FThe SRMJEEE 2024 will be open to Indian residents and non-residents, as well as holders of Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cards issued by the Government of India.
SRMJEEE 2024: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Go to the official website of SRMIST atsrmist.edu.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the registration link.
Step 3: As a new window opens, enter the required details, such as name, email id, contact number, and other information to register.
Step 4: Next, enter the login credentials generated.
Step 5: Fill out the SRMJEEE 2024 application form as asked.
Step 6: Upload all the necessary documents and pay the application fee.
Step 7: Check all the details in the form and submit it.
SRMJEEE 2024: Exam Pattern
The SRMJEEE 2024 test will consist of 125 questions divided into five subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Biology, English, and Aptitude. Those who are planning to applying for the Biotechnology programme must appear for the Biology section exam rather than the Mathematics section. The entrance test is administered for two hours and thirty minutes (2:30), with a maximum score of 125. Every right answer will receive one mark, while wrong answer will not result in a deduction.
There will be a certain allocation of questions from different subjects in the SRMJEEE 2024 test. Candidates will be asked 35 questions in the Physics section, and 35 questions in the Chemistry section. Both the Biology and Mathematics sections include 40 questions each. Furthermore, the test pattern comprises 5 questions from the English section and 10 questions from the aptitude component that make up the whole test pattern.
