The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conclude the registration process for the SSC Grade C exam 2018 and 2019 today, October 3. Earlier, the last date to register for the exam was September 25 but later it was extended to October 3. The commission extended the online registration deadline after a few candidates were facing issues while filling out the application form. Hence, those who have not registered yet can do so by visiting the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.
“As some difficulties in filling up of online application form have been reported to the Commission by the candidates, the Commission has decided to extend the last date for receipt of online application form from 25.09.2023 to 03.10.2023. Therefore, the last date of receipt of online application form of Grade ‘C’ Stenographers Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2018 & 2019 shall be 03.10.2023,” reads the official notice.

It is to be noted that applicant(s) qualifying for the 2018 examination are also eligible for the 2019 Examination, provided all other eligibility requirements are met and the candidate expressly requests to be considered. Furthermore, only candidates whose applications have been submitted by their Head of Department or Head of Office will be considered for admission to this recruitment examination.
SSC Grade ‘C’ Stenographer Recruitment 2023: Documents Needed
At the time of registration, candidates are advised to upload the following documents:
— A copy of the relevant educational qualification certificate.
— Candidate’s signature as a specimen.
— Certified genuine copy of the first page of the service book, officially attested by the candidate’s head of department or head of office.
— Certified genuine copy of the candidate’s service particulars attested by the head of department or head of office.
— Form of service certificate for injured defence personnel.
— In the case of PwBD applicants, a certificate of disability is required.
The procedure for filling out the online application form for the recruitment examination is divided into two parts — one-time registration, and filling out an online application for the examination. Applicants should also be aware that the Commission will not be held liable for the non-reception or delay in receipt of their application for whatever reason.
