Advani calls for CBI probe into Nithari

New Delhi: It’s been nearly a week since the gruesome Nithari killings came to light and political reactions are pouring in thick and fast.

While UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav carefully dodged the demands for a CBI probe, BJP on Friday said it will become a major issue during upcoming Assembly poll campaigns in Uttar Pradesh.

"The killing of children is gruesome incident and a matter of shame for the country. The Uttar Pradesh government should hand over the investigations to the CBI," Leader of Opposition L K Advani told journalists in Indore.
