Akhilesh Bhaiyya's Name, a Personal Touch: How Dimple Bhabhi Manages Crowds
The moment Dimple Yadav reminds people of complaining to "Akhilesh Bhayya", they all fall in line.

Allahabad: The reception she got there resembled one reserved for Bollywood stars.

The Transport Nagar in Allahabad witnessed great frenzy as camera wielding fans jostled to get a glimpse of Dimple Yadav. Many of the yuva members of Samajwadi Party donning red caps were chanting "Dimple Bhabhi", even as the netas who accompanied her kept telling the men to "keep quiet".

The sabha showed no sign of progress with the yuva leaders surrounding the manch where their bhabhi sat patiently waiting for the crowd to give her a chance to speak. When nothing happened, she stood up and came to the podium and issued a verbal whip: "If this continues I will complain to Akhilesh Bhaiyya."

The moment she said this they fell in line. It allowed her to make her speech and talk about the promises: "Metro in Allahabad", "35% reservation for women in government jobs"; she even took potshots at PM Modi and told people to "be wary of the government that can make them stand in the line again".

She questioned Opposition's intention of discrediting Akhilesh Yadav's work, and said: "There is a song from Amitabh Bachchan's film... jo hai naam wala wahi toh badnaam hai... Since UP has progressed, the opponents are indulging in defaming our work. They are using made up numbers to prove our governance wrong. But with UP going up their BP (Blood Pressure) is also going up." This drew loud cheers and again drowned her speech.

She again reminded people of complaining to "Akhilesh Bhaiyya". She picked on one particular yuva neta and said,"So what is your name, I am going to tell about you."

When another youth tried to get a selfie or someone shouted her name, she said, "Kahan se training li hai, buri baat hai."

Jitendra Upadhyaya, a student who came from Allahabad North constituency, said, "She is our bhabhi, we wouldn't get excited to see her. I am not from this constituency but I have just come for her."

After the sabha got over, a retired Kendriya Vidyalaya teacher TK Mishra said, "This is sheer udganthta (naughtiness). Some arrangement should have been made to keep the boys disciplined.”

Maybe the next time bhabhi comes, this will be taken care of.
