Voting got over for the second and final phase of Assam Assembly elections. Polling was held in 61 seats of Assam with 525 candidates in fray. Voting also got over in the part two of first phase of West Bengal Assembly elections. Polling was held in 31 seats of West Bengal with 163 candidates in fray.
Over 17 million voters exercised their franchise in this phase.
Repoll in two booths of Bankura and West Midnapore districts of West Bengal, where polling was held in the first part of the first phase poll on April 4, was also held on Monday.
