BJP not to support no-confidence motion against UPA governmet
The BJP has said it wary of supporting any motion which is against the formation of Telangana.

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday said that it will not provide support to the no-confidence motion against the UPA government being moved by six Congress MPs from Seemandhra region of Andhra Pradesh over Telangana's creation.

The BJP is wary of supporting any motion which is against the formation of Telangana as the party has supported creation of smaller states.

Any decision on the issue is unlikely as Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj, too, is not in the country.

Earlier, Six Congress MPs from Seemandhra region had issued a no-confidence motion against their own party led UPA government at the Centre. These 6 Lok Sabha members are opposing the creation of the Telangana state.

In their no-confidence motion, they have mentioned that the UPA government has lost the faith of Seemandhra MPs. L Rajagopal, SPY Reddy, Sabbam Hari, R Sambasivarao, Harshakumar and V Arunkumar have signed the no-confidence motion.
