Lucknow: Accusing the Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) of having a tacit understanding, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said his party would provide jobs for 50 lakh youths in Uttar Pradesh if it took power in the state.
"If BJP is voted to power in the assembly polls, it will generate employment for 50 lakh people, build roads in every village and set up at least a good hospital in every district," said Gadkari.
"Our plan for an all round development of the state is aimed to assist Hindus, Muslims, Dalits and people of all regions, caste and creed alike," he added.
Gadkari was addressing a gathering at BJP's "Vijay Sankalp Samagam" in Ayodhya, some 150 km from Lucknow.
