Two Congress leaders in Uttarakhand on Sunday joined the BJP ahead of January 30 Assembly elections.
New Delhi: The BJP'S Central Election Committee meeting is scheduled to meet on Monday to decide on candidates for the five states going to the polls. The final list is likely to be released on Tuesday.
The process of filing nominations begins on January 5.
The Election Commission will launch a campaign to register voters in Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, two Congress leaders in Uttarakhand including Haldwani municipality Chairperson Renu Adhikari along with their supporters on Sunday joined the BJP ahead of Assembly elections in the state to be held on January 30.
