Kejriwal a changed person, is eyeing PM's chair: Anna Hazare
The noted activist from Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra had on Tuesday voiced his support for Mamata Banerjee.

New Delhi: Anna Hazare has once again lashed out at his former associate Arvind Kejriwal, the ex-Chief Minister of Delhi. "Arvind Kejriwal is a changed person. He is eyeing the Prime Minister's chair," Anna told CNN-IBN.

"He had earlier said he will not take a bungalow but now, even after his resignation as the Delhi Chief Minister, he has not left the government bungalow. It can be clearly seen, Kejriwal has PM ambitions," the 76-year-old said.

The noted activist from Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra had on Tuesday voiced his support for Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal. "I support Mamata, not for her party, but I support her views on the society and the country. I support her values and intentions," he had said in a joint press conference with her.

After meeting her, Anna said that Mamata was the only Chief Minister who responded to the 17 demands sent in a letter by him to every CM.

"Many people may question whether Didi would fulfil these demands after coming to power. But I have full faith in Mamata. These 17 points can indeed fulfil the economic needs of the country," he said.

"Arvind Kejriwal didn't reply to my 17 demands, there's no question of supporting him," he said.

"I strongly believe that even if there are only 100 seats with Didi in control, the country would see a good change. She has not taken a car or house despite being a CM. As a CM, she could have led a luxurious life, like many other ministers. But she stays in a small room," Anna added.

Anna and Mamata have decided to launch a 'Fight for India' campaign before the Lok Sabha elections.
