Lok Sabha Election 2024 Updates: The political mercury in the country is continuously rising with the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024 set to be held in seven phases between April 19 and June 1. Both the BJP-led NDA and the Opposition INDIA bloc have started campaigning for the upcoming polls amid the rising temperature.

PM Modi today kick-started his campaign for Uttarakhand from Rudrapur, Union Minister Amit Shah attended the Shakti Kendra Pramukh Sammelan in Bengaluru. PM Modi in Rudrapur slammed the Congress party over corruption and said while “we say ‘Bhrashtachaar hatao’, they say ‘Bhrashtachaari ko bachao'”.

Union Home Minister further escalated his attack on the Congress party and said, “On one side, it is PM Modi. On the other side, it is Congress which has indulged in corruption of Rs 12 lakh crores.”

Polling for the Lok Sabha elections will be conducted in seven phases, the first of which is on April 19. Voting will also be held on April 26, May 7, 13, 20, 25, and June 1. The counting of votes for all 543 Lok Sabha seats will take place on June 4.
