9. Nirmal is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Telangana and is part of Adilabad Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Nirmal falls in Nirmal district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as a semi-urban seat.
There are a total of 1,86,512 voters in the seat, which includes 88,365 male voters, and 98,130 female voters. In the 2018 Telangana elections, Nirmal recorded a voter turnout of 79.27%. In 2014 the turnout was 76.85%.
In 2014, Allolla Indra Karan Reddy of BSP won the seat by a margin of 8,497 (5.26%). Allolla Indra Karan Reddy secured 38% of the total votes polled.
