Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was on Saturday heckled during an event in the national capital.
The JDU leader was met with protests at the inauguration of the New Delhi chapter of the Bihar foundation at the Sri Ram Centre in Mandi House area of the Capital. About 15 people entered the hall and protested over law and order problem.
The police later detained some of the protesters.
However, unfazed by the sequence of event, the Bihar Chief Minister continued to speak at the event.
Addressing the gathering on the Bihar Foundation Day, Kumar said that people living outside the state must connect with their native places in whichever way possible.
