Ranchi: A plea was filed on Friday in a special CBI court in Ranchi to make Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar an accused in three cases relating to the fodder scam.
Kumar and JD(U) spokesman Shivanand Tiwari should be made accused, Mithilesh Kumar Singh said in his plea. Singh had earlier filed a similar application in the court, which was rejected as he was not a party in the case.
He then appealed in the Jharkhand High Court, which too rejected his plea and asked him to approach the CBI court by saying it should pass a judgement only after considering the application.
Citing an RTI response, Singh said Kumar and Tiwari were allegedly complicit in the scam and he had given the relevant papers to the investigating agency, which had not taken any action.
His plea will be heard by the court on September 25.
