64. Thanagazi is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Dausa (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Thanagazi falls in Alwar district and Matsya region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,95,593 voters in the seat, which includes 1,04,958 male voters, and 90,635 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Thanagazi recorded a voter turnout of 78.61%. In 2013 the turnout was 79.6%, and in 2008 it was 73.9%.
In 2013, Hem Singh Bhadana of BJP won the seat by a margin of 3,732 votes (2.77%). Hem Singh Bhadana secured 39.01% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 1,295 votes (1.19%), registering 32.39% of the total votes polled.
