Earlier on Sunday, PM Modi was unable to reach Bahraich as his chopper failed to land in Bahraich owing to poor visibility in the region.
With Assembly elections due early next year in Uttar Pradesh, the rally, being organised to try and regain Awadh region, will be held at Suhel Dev Ground in Vishwaria.
The Awadh region comprises 82 assembly seats including that of Lucknow, Kanpur and Ayodhya.
All security measures have been put in place here ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally.
