112. Waraseoni is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Balaghat Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Waraseoni falls in Balaghat district and Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,89,463 voters in the seat, which includes 94,948 male voters, and 94,512 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Waraseoni recorded a voter turnout of 81.26%. In 2013 the turnout was 81.48%, and in 2008 it was 84.4%.
In 2013, Dr Yogendra Nirmal of BJP won the seat by a margin of 17,938 votes (12.59%). Dr Yogendra Nirmal secured 46.88% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 14,990 votes (12.28%), registering 41.77% of the total votes polled.
