Tamil actor Vikranth is a proud father as his son has been included in the Under-14 Tamil Nadu state cricket team, the actor informed his fans on social media. Known for his talent in films like Engal Aasan, Goripalayam etc, actor Vikranth is a father to two sons. In his latest post, the actor congratulated his son with the caption, “Happiest day as a dad !! Can’t be more proud of you Yashu..U-14 Tamil Nadu state cricket team. 1st step of a long journey… wishing you all the best for achieving all your dreams…Thanks to God.”
He also posted an adorable picture of his son, Netizens showered greetings in the comment section. A user wrote, “Like Father, like Son.” Another user wrote, “Congrats kiddo, all the very best for your future achievements. Actor Vikranth Santhosh made his debut in the film industry with the movie Karka Kasadara, in 2005. It was directed by RV Udayakumar, and the cast also included Laxmi Rai, Diya and Vadivelu. Then in the following years, he appeared in films like Ninaithu Ninaithu Parthen, Mudhal Kanave and Agathiyan’s Nenjathai Killathe. In 2009, he featured with Vijayakanth in the film Engal Aasan. After appearing in the Celebrity Cricket League, he started to appear in more prominent roles in films. He is a cousin of actor Thalapathy Vijay, while his uncle is filmmaker SA Chandrasekhar.
He was last seen in the film Naan Mirugamaai Maara, directed by Sathyasiva, and released in 2022. Now, the actor is set to star in Lal Salaam along with Superstar Rajinikanth and Vishnu Vishal. It is under the direction of Aishwarya Rajinikanth and is set to release in February, this year.
