Mohan Babu Offers Special Puja At Film Nagar’s Daiva Sannidhanam Temple
Mohan Babu has recently been sworn in as the chairman of the Daiva Sannidhanam Temple.

India is celebrating the inauguration of Ram Mandir, which is taking place in Ayodhya, today, January 22. On this occasion, numerous celebrities, politicians and industrialists have reached Ram Mandir to witness the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Ahead of this historic day, Telugu actor and producer Mohan Babu has performed a special puja in the Daiva Sannidhanam Temple in Film Nagar, Hyderabad. A grand Sri Sitarama Kalyana Mahotsavam was held to celebrate the Ram Mandir Inauguration ceremony on the evening of Sunday, January 21. Actor Mohan Babu couldn’t attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya due to security reasons, as cited by him in his apology letter to Prime Minister Modi.

During the media interaction, Mohan Babu reminded everyone that he had been recently sworn in as the chairman of the Daiva Sannidhanam Temple. He said that the temple houses eighteen idols of god and is served by fifteen priests. “Devotees believe that praying here fulfils their wishes,” added Mohan Babu, while talking about the significance of Daiva Sannidhanam Temple. The statues of deities like Tirupati Venkateswara Swamy, Sai Baba, Sri Rama, Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, and Santoshi Mata are enshrined here. He further praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for letting the world know about the birthplace of Lord Ram. He appreciated PM Modi’s herculean task of inaugurating Ram Mandir and said, “I would like to express my gratitude to Prime Minister Modi who has undertaken such a great program by inaugurating the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.”

He further apologised for not attending the ceremony after receiving an invitation. “I also received an invitation. But I wrote a letter apologising for not being able to come due to security reasons,” said Mohan Babu, as published in several regional media reports.

On this occasion, the Chief Priest of Daiva Sannidhanam Temple, Rambabu said that several programs were being conducted from January 14 to January 22. Devotional songs and Bharata Natya performances are held in the evening, while Sri Sitarama Kalyana Mahotsavam is held on January 21.

Mohan Babu is one of the prominent actors of Telugu cinema. He has acted in more than 500 films in lead, supporting and a variety of roles. He has also received several awards for his supporting roles in the movies.
