New Delhi: Facebook is soon going to come up with its version of apps in virtual reality, which will let users share their current environment with others through an app.
According to a report from The Verge, Facebook's head of product, Chris Cox at Recode's Code Media conference in Dana Point, said that they are working on apps for VR. Although he didn't describe the apps but imagined a world where one could share their immediate surroundings with others.
As virtual reality headsets are still underway and in their early stages of development, it will take some time for the Facebook VR apps to be at consumers' disposal.
Last year, Facebook acquired the company named Oculus VR for a whopping $2 billion; evident of its plans to incorporate virtual reality to enhance the core Facebook experience of sharing.
