iQOO 12 made its debut in China recently and now buyers in India have the chance to experience the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in the country.

iQOO 12 is the first smartphone in India to launch with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The company has unleashed its new flagship phone starting at Rs 52,999, and you can buy it via online channels in the country. iQOO 12 is also the first non-Pixel phone to come with Android 14 out of the box and its battery offers support for fast charging speed.

iQOO did the same with its last year’s flagship device in the country, one of the first to come with the 8 Gen 2 chipset. iQOO has built a core product lineup that focuses on performance and now it is surely evolving with design, going by the teasers we have seen lately.

iQOO 12 Price In India

iQOO 12 has launched in India at a starting price of Rs 52,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while you also have the option pick up the phone in 16GB + 512GB model for the first time in the country, which costs Rs 57,999. As for availability, the iQOO flagship will go on sale in India starting December 14.

iQOO 12 Specifications

iQOO 12 sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate screen that offers resolution of 1260 pixels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The new chipset has got people excited, not only for its performance gains but other AI smartness that takes a smartphone into another sphere.

The phone comes equipped with a versatile triple rear camera system that consists of a 50MP wide sensor, 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 64MP periscope telephoto sensor. The front of the phone has a 16MP shooter.

iQOO is making some changes to its Funtouch OS UI, reducing the amount of bloatware which should take care of the annoying ads. You get it over Android 14 version and the company is promising three OS updates for the device. The other aspect where iQOO never compromises is the battery, and once again you have a 5000mAh battery that gets you charged up at 120W using the bundled charger.
