iVooMi has launched its new budget-centric smartphone, the V5, in India. The iVoomi V5 has been priced at Rs. 3,499 in India and the handset is available in Jade Black as well as Champagne Gold colour options only via Snapdeal. The company has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer an instant cashback of Rs 2,200 on the V5, bringing down its effective price to Rs 1299. Under the “Jio Football Offer", the customers are entitled to receive a cashback worth Rs 2,200 by recharging their Jio connections with Rs 198 or Rs 299 prepaid pack on or before June 30, the company said.

Commenting on the launch, Ashwin Bhandari, CEO, iVOOMi India, said, “iVOOMi stands for its distinguished products that are built with innovation. iVoomi V5 runs Android 7.0 Nougat and features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display. The entry-level smartphone is powered by the quad-core Spreadtrum SoC clocked at 1.2 GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM. iVoomi V5 comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
In terms of optics, the device features a 5-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. iVooMi V5 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and it is backed by a 2800mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it features 4G VOLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, dual-SIM and micro USB port.
