Lava has launched Lava A93 as another budget offering in its smartphone range. The Lava A93 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery and is priced at Rs 7,999. The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Lava A93 comes with a 2GB RAM and a 16GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. On the camera front, the Lava A93 sports an 8-megapixel primary camera, along with a 2-megapixel selfie camera with LED Flash.
The 152 grams smartphone comes in 145x72.2x8.85mm dimensions. Connectivity options on the Lava A93 include a Wi-Fi 802, Bluetooth v4.0, USB 2.0, FM GPS, and 3G support. The latest Lava offering surprisingly misses out on 4G support, a feature that most of its contenders at this price point offer. With a price of Rs 7,999, Lava A93 will directly compete against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 4, Moto G4, Moto C Plus and many others. Considering the specifications offered by other smartphones in this range, Lava A93 looks to be under par.
