South Korean smartphone manufacturer LG has launched its new device LG Q Stylus under the mid-range Q series. The LG Q Stylus follows on the design guidelines of LG V-series. The LG Q Stylus comes with a military grade durability that’s certified with MIL-STD 810G with an IP68-rated water and dust resistance. LG will launch the Q Stylus series in Asia and North America by early second half of 2018.

In terms of specifications, the LG Q Stylus features a 6.2-inch FullVision display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, and taller aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz or 1.8GHz depending on the market. The device runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and is powered by 1.5GHz Octa-core processor. The smartphone offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The users can further expand the storage by installing a microSD card.

On the camera front, there is a 16/13-megapixel rear shooter with PDAF and an 8/5-megapixel Super Wide Angle lens front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed by a 3300mAh battery. The Q Stylus also borrows support for DTS:X audio found in the V and G series for a 7.1 channel surround sound experience.
In terms of connectivity the LG Q Stylus has a 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C (version 2.0).
