Motorola has sent out invites for its Moto X Force India launch event, scheduled for February 1-2 in Gurgaon. This confirms an earlier IBNLive report that the device was expected to come to India on February 2.
The phone which is claimed to have the world's first shatterproof display is, according to our source, expected to be priced at around Rs 50,000. This price is a good Rs 20,000 higher than its existing flagship phone in the Indian market - the Moto X Style.
The phone is being sold in the US by the name of the Droid Turbo 2, but it will be launched as Moto X Force in India and other international markets.
The initial launch of the phone was set for between January 10 and 16. The January launch plans was first revealed to IBNLive by Motorola's India head Amit Boni.

The phone further includes TurboPower charging, which the company claims can give users up to 13 hours of power in just 15 minutes. It is said to give users up to 48 hours of battery life on a single charge.
