OnePlus 12 And OnePlus 12R Prices Tipped Ahead Of Launch: Here's What We Know
OnePlus 12 could be more expensive by $100 compared to OnePlus 11, placing it in the same price range as the Pixel 8, the iPhone 15, and other flagship phones.

OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R are scheduled to launch in India on January 23rd. With the launch only days away, new leaks have emerged regarding the US pricing of both the latest flagships. OnePlus 12, like the outgoing OnePlus 11, is expected to be the more expensive of the two devices, while the OnePlus 12R will have a more affordable price tag.

These leaks originate from the German publication TechPlus. According to the report, the OnePlus 12 will have a starting price of $799 (approximately Rs. 66,000) in the US for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The OnePlus 12R, on the other hand, will cost users $499 (approximately Rs. 35,000) for the base 8GB + 128GB model. The 16GB + 256GB model could be priced at $599 (approximately Rs. 50,000).

If this price ends up being accurate, the OnePlus 12 will be $100 more expensive than the OnePlus 11, putting it in the same price range as the Pixel 8, the iPhone 15, and other flagship phones, and would certainly mean more competition for the BBK-owned brand in the US.

OnePlus 12, 12R Specifications

OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.82-inch QHD+ (1,440 x 3,168) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and it will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of base storage. For optics, it will feature a triple camera setup tuned by Hasselblad, with wide, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras. The device will also ship with a large 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.

Concerning the OnePlus 12R, it will be equipped with the previous year’s flagship system-on-chip, the same one that powers the OnePlus 11—Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It should have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM as standard, and feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED panel.
