OnePlus is all set to launch its OnePlus 12 flagship smartphone tomorrow, January 23rd in India at its ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ event. We already know everything about the device because it has already been launched in China, but India-specific price and availability details are still under wraps.
Everything should be revealed tomorrow, but ahead of the launch, tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekd) hinted at the India pricing of the flagship OnePlus 12 device. According to his Twitter post, the OnePlus 12’s 12GB variant could cost Rs 64,999, while the more equipped 16GB model may retail for Rs 69,999 in the Indian market. As for its Chinese price, the OnePlus 12 device retails starting at CNY 4,299 (around Rs 51,000) for the base 12GB variant.
In a separate post, he also revealed availability details. He says that the OnePlus 12 could be available starting January 30th, while the OnePlus 12R may be available in February next month. These leaks are in line with some previous leaks that have come out, but it should be taken with a grain of salt until OnePlus officially reveals the details itself.
OnePlus 12, 12R Specifications
OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will have a 6.82-inch QHD+ (1,440 x 3,168) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, have 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of base storage. The phone will have a triple camera setup with wide, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras, all tuned by Hasselblad. It will also have a large 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.
OnePlus 12R, on the other hand, could get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the same one that powers the OnePlus 11. It should have 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage, and feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED panel.
