New Delhi: After weeks of speculation, Xiaomi has finally unveiled its new Mi product today, a brand new Mi TV 2S that is the thinnest ever Mi TV from the Chinese smartphone maker. With a 9.9 mm aluminum frame, the Mi TV 2S is said to be almost as thin as the Mi 4 smartphone.
The 48-inch #Mi TV 2S is priced at RMB 2999 (approximately Rs 31,000); the Theatre Edition, on the other hand costs RMB 3999 (around Rs 41,000).
It boasts of a 4K lossless display quality and features sound system based on Dolby technology. The new TV set is engineered with the latest MStar 6A928 chipset, and runs MIUI TV based on Android 5.0 .
The Mi TV 2S comes with a special power plug that is smaller than a match box and has been developed in partnership with Volex, the world’s largest power chord supplier.
Xiaomi claims that its Mi TV 2S offers better clarity and true colours than televisions made by Sharp, Sony, and Samsung.
The Mi TV 2S comes in five different colour options for its aluminum frames - gold, silver, pink, blue, green.
