Mitali criticised Ankita for borrowing clothes from Mannara and then publicly speaking negatively about her during a press conference.

As Bigg Boss 17 races towards its grand finale, the drama inside the house seems to be escalating, with controversies not only confined to the contestants but also extending to their families. The latest feud involves Mannara Chopra’s sister, Mitali Handa, and Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita Lokhande. Mitali expressed her frustration and criticised Ankita for borrowing clothes from Mannara and then publicly speaking negatively about her during a press conference.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Mitali shared a photo of Ankita adorned in a saree for the Bigg Boss press conference. The text on the photo read, “When Ankita wears borrowed clothes which I sent for Mannara and Mannara being a kind-hearted girl gave her so that she looks good for media interaction where all Ankita speaks is against Mannara only. hats off to Ankita’s relations. Insensitive person.”

During the press conference, Ankita accused Mannara of teasing her by talking to her husband Vicky during their fights. Mannara seemed uncomfortable with questions about her relationship with Vicky. Ankita went further stating that Mannara speaks ill of anyone she has a conflict with and lacks respect. Comedian Munawar Faruqui seemed to agree with Ankita’s perspective.

Despite the heated exchange, Ankita made a compassionate effort to comfort her. The following day, when Vicky Jain faced eviction, Mannara stood strong in support of Ankita and was the first one to embrace and console her. Their bond continued as they shared a comforting hug before heading to bed, showcasing the complex yet resilient relationships within the Bigg Boss 17 house.

This is not the first time Mitali has called out Ankita. Previously, during family members’ appearances on the show, Mitali accused Ankita of making an ‘illegitimate child’ remark about her sister Mannara. Ankita, however, swiftly denied making any such statement, resulting in a clash of perspectives. A viral video supporting Mitali’s previous claim showed Ankita allegedly making derogatory remarks about Mannara. However, evicted contestant Ayesha Khan clarified that these remarks were part of a fictional scenario where they were portraying mother-daughter characters for entertainment purposes.

With Vicky’s eviction, Bigg Boss 17 now has its top 5 finalists – Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mashettey. The highly anticipated grand finale is scheduled for January 28, 2024. The episode is set to commence at 6 pm.
