Dalljiet Kaur Shares Cryptic Post About Life Lessons After Separation From Nikhil Patel

Bigg Boss 13 fame Dalljiet Kaur recently opened up about the insightful lessons she learned while going through difficult times after splitting from her second husband Nikhil Patel. The actress earlier accused Nikhil of having an extramarital affair, through her Instagram stories, which prompted her to leave his house. A few months back, she left Nikhil’s residence in Nairobi and moved back to Mumbai.

On Thursday, the Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actress took to X and spoke about the lessons she learned during the tough times. She wrote, “Tough times become the best filter for life. Instant coffee ke jaise instant filter. Jo log real hain wo reh jayenge baaki sab chann jaayenge #truthoflife #sachhai #LifeLessons (Like instant coffee, instant filter. Those who are real will remain, the rest will strain away).”

Last month, the ex-Bigg Boss contestant also accused Nikhil of seeking publicity in India by using her name. Taking to Instagram stories, Dalljiet claimed that her ex-husband hired a PR agent in India and wrote, “Stop seeking publicity on my name for god’s sake! And a message on my number directly. Stop being so desperate for fame. You have already managed to do your cultural event/PR party on March 18 and gained enough publicity.”

She continued, “The fact that you hired a PR is the biggest joke. You couldn’t have hired someone before March 18 in India, to get published about your personal life.” The actress concluded her note by requesting the Kenya authorities to take a stand for her and have some mercy on her son Jaydon.

Reports also suggest that Dalljiet has moved Nairobi City court against Nikhil and received a stay order to prevent him from evicting her or her son Jaydon from their home in Kenya.

This was Dalljiet’s second marriage. Earlier, she was married to TV actor Shalin Bhanot. The duo tied the knot in 2009 but parted ways in 2015 after she accused him of domestic violence. In March 2023, she married Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel but returned to India in January this year after their marriage faced turbulence.

On the work front, Dalljiet is known for her performances in TV shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Kaala Teeka, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega and others. She has also appeared in reality shows like Bigg Boss 13 and Nach Baliye 4.
