Hina Khan, best known for playing Akshara in the popular TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently revealed how her demanding work schedule is affecting her health. Through a series of candid Instagram Stories, Hina Khan offered her followers a peek into her exhausting shoot schedule that stretches up to 16 hours a day.
In one of the stories, Hina Khan shared a photo of her team assisting her in getting ready. The photo was accompanied by the text, “Not exaggerating but sometimes it just gets on to you when you can’t even peacefully have at least one meal a day. Do nothing, concentrate on your food. Just food and eat peacefully…Hota hi nahi hai. (It can’t be helped).”
Hina, who is busy shooting for her upcoming project, further revealed the extent of her struggle by posting a selfie where she is seen sleeping with a face mask on. Alongside the image, she expressed the difficulty she faces in getting adequate rest due to her packed schedule. She wrote, “That’s how I sleep nowadays, Mask on all night. Can’t breathe, Bhejo thodi dua. (Please send your prayers).”
Additionally, the actor provided a glimpse into the medication routine that she is following to cope with her health challenges. The photo was accompanied by a text that read, “Also shooting 16 hours a day, nothing much.” The actress also uploaded a video that revealed her dust-filled vanity van with the timestamp of 12.39 am. She accompanied the footage with a text, “Dust, smoke, and whatnot! That’s my set. Ab batao koi theek kaise hoga? (Now, tell me, how can one be okay?” Her next story showed her tired mask-covered face, accompanied with a sticker that asked, “What do I do?” As of 5.29 am, Hina Khan shared a photo of the clear morning sky and wrote, “Still shooting”.
Hina Khan is currently shooting in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. However, she has yet to reveal the project’s name. The award-winning actor was last seen in Rahhat Shah Kazmi’s adventure drama Country of Blind. The film follows the story of a mountaineer who, after falling 1,000 feet from a cliff, finds himself in a mysterious valley inhabited by blind people. The actress will be next seen in Smeep Kang’s upcoming film Carry on Jattiye, alongside the ensemble cast of Sunil Grover, Jasmine Bhasin, and Gippy Grewal.
