'Dear Sachin': Tendulkar's Neighbour Complains of Loud Construction Noise At His Home in Viral Post
Sachin Tendulkar's neigbour puts up a social media post, requesting to stop the construction work at his home after 9 p.m.

That noise from the construction site with all those heavy machines and bulldozers is seriously annoying, isn’t it? Imagine dealing with it day in, and day out. Well, that’s exactly what Sachin Tendulkar’s neighbour in Bandra had to put up with. Fed up with the constant racket from a cement mixer outside Tendulkar’s place, they took to social media to plead for some peace and quiet.

The post, shared by Dilip D’Souza on ‘X’, went like this: “Dear @sachin_rt, it’s nearly 9pm and the cement mixer that’s been outside your Bandra home all day making a loud noise is still there, still making a loud noise. Please could you ask the people working on your home to stick to reasonable hours? Thank you so much.”

Naturally, the post blew up, sparking a flurry of comments. Some questioned D’Souza’s choice to air his grievance so publicly. “You could have called the authorities & gone about it the right way. Instead, you want publicity here,” one person pondered. Another chimed in, “Bros need reach not to be a solution,” while a third exclaimed, “When you have to resort to Twitter to ask your neighbor.” The fourth remarked, “You can call 100 and they will do the needful . But you wanted some RTs hence instead of tagging @MumbaiPolice you are tagging Sachin . Also, building construction activity has permission till 10pm by BMC.”

The fifth one said, “So from whatever research I’ve done I think the time is legally till 10 pm but it could be different site to site. After 10 pm it’s legally not allowed is what I’m aware. You can call the cops and they’ll come also – because nobody wants to miss a chance to enter his house.”

But amidst the debate, there were also those who couldn’t resist injecting a bit of humor and maybe a hint of envy. “Ohh wow u are sachin neighbor,” teased one commenter. Another quipped, “Bas itna amir banna he.”

Yet, amidst all the buzz, Sachin himself hasn’t responded to the post, leaving his fans to speculate about what action, if any, he might take.

What's your reaction?
