Recently, a video purportedly shot inside a Delhi Metro train gained traction on social media. It shows a girl dancing to the song Aaj Ki Raat from the film Stree-2.
The video was uploaded on Instagram with the caption ‘On Public Demand’ by the handle _sahelirudra_. The girl in the viral video is a social media influencer. It is not clear from the video which Metro line this was filmed on. In the clip, she can be seen dancing to the viral song Aaj Ki Raat from the recently released movie Stree-2 that starred Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao. The song, originally performed by actress Tamannaah Bhatia, had gained a lot of attention.
Uploaded four days ago, the video is now trending on social media, having been viewed by nearly 10 lakh people and liked by more than 32,000. Thousands of users have commented on the video, with mixed reactions. While some have left negative comments, others praised the girl’s confidence for dancing in a crowded Metro.
One user wrote, “This is not the public’s demand. Don’t lie. The public is not idle like you people.”
Another user commented, “People are losing their minds for attention. This is not the right place for a dance performance. Not everyone is here to be entertained; please use your brain.”
Meanwhile, another user remarked, “This is not a stage, this is public transport. Some people are just trying to get to work.”
However, some supported her, with one saying, “She’s living her best life! If it makes you happy, then why not dance?”
