But who would have thought a similar twist would manifest in real life, or perhaps just for laughs? A Gujarati individual shared a hilarious post expressing their longtime belief that the lyrics referred to “Poha” instead of “Pawwa” in the 2012 song.
In a post by @spicydabeli on ‘X,’ the individual quipped, “Poha is pronounced “pawwa” in Gujarati. So for eighteen years of my life I thought Chikni Chameli would sneak out of her home, cook poha for her kids, and then dance at the bar.” LOL! Whether deliberate or fabricated (because the song isn’t eighteen years old), the man undeniably sparked laughter online, evoking fond memories of Jethalal’s iconic moment.
