To deal with mental health, the administration introduced a special way to look after its population.

Do you know a country where laughing once a day is very important? No right? Know about it in detail here.

The amazing fact is that there is a country in the world where laughing at least once a day is considered mandatory and has been made a law in one province.

Laughing is considered as the best medicine to cure diseases. Due to this reason, there exists a country where laughing has been made a law. The people of this province will have to laugh once every day. After all which country is this? Japan is the country where laughing has been made mandatory.

As per the Business Insider, in Japan laughing is considered necessary once every day and this strange and efficacious law has been passed. To deal with people’s health, last week, the administration in Yamagata Prefecture of Japan came up with a special way to look after and take care of the health of the people. The law, according to the administration, is that people will have to laugh once a day. A research was conducted at the Yamagata University before making this rule. The law was passed by the members of the Liberal Democratic Party last Friday, to foster a healthier community.

Research by Yamagata University has stated that laughing has great benefits for health. This lessens heart diseases leading to an increase in the lifespan of a person. There is no forced emphasis on laughing under this law. Citizens through this are prompted to create a happy environment throughout the day. Workplaces are also encouraged to create a light-hearted atmosphere.

Although the administration, on the one hand, is trying to create a better and disease-free environment through this law, on the other hand, the administration has also several objections to this law.

As per the Japanese Communist Party, this law violates human freedom. The opposition claims that the right to laugh or not laugh is a right given by the Constitution. It has also been stated on behalf of the Constitutional Democratic Party, that this law does not take care of those people who do not laugh due to some illness, oppression, or sadness. Whereas the administration has constantly claimed that this law is created as an incentive, not an order. If someone does not laugh, no penalty will be imposed on him.
