In UP’s Kasganj, Bride’s Mother Elopes With Groom’s Father

One incident of two people eloping, before their adult children’s marriage, in Kasganj Uttar Pradesh has become a hot topic of discussion. This bizarre incident shocked everyone living in that area. A strange incident has come to light where the in-laws, that is the mother of the bride and the father of the groom, while arranging their offsprings’ marriage, eloped together. The incident reportedly took place in the first week of June, after which an FIR was filed against the man in the Ganj Dundwara police station, on the complaint of the woman’s husband, accusing him of kidnapping. According to reports, this man has come to fix the marriage of his son and eventually fell in love with the mother of the bride. The two started talking to each other whenever they visited their in-laws’ house. Two months ago, they arranged the marriage of their offsprings.

The bride’s father claimed that his daughter was engaged with the accused’s son. After the engagement, the bride’s mother and the groom’s father started talking to each other. The marriage was also set to take place this month, meanwhile the accused came to the bride’s house and kidnapped her mother before their marriage.

The girl’s father claimed that the accused, who is the father of 10 children, kidnapped his wife and took her somewhere else. On the other hand, it has also been revealed that the girl’s mother has seven children. The police are currently searching for the woman based on the husband’s complaint.

Providing information, CO Patiyali Vijay Rana of Kasganj district said in this regard that on June 8, a resident of the village of Sujawal pur of the Thana Ganj Dundwara, informed that his wife is missing till June 3. A missing report has also been filed against this incident at the Ganj Dundwara police station. An application has been submitted by Pappu on July 11, 2024, where he accused Shakeel of kidnapping his wife. A case has been registered under relevant sections as per the rules. Investigation is underway and legal action will soon be taken.
