Lately, horrifying car accidents have been grabbing the spotlight every alternate day. Generally, the cars have been reported to be speeding way over the speed limit and the driver seemed to be driving recklessly, at times under the influence of alcohol. Fortunately, it is during these circumstances that airbags come into play and can even save the lives of the passengers inside the car. Recently, in Agra, an overspeeding vehicle crashed into a restaurant which was left completely shattered. The incident shook up the onlookers after seeing the destruction.
A car crash occurred at Haldiram Restaurant in the Sanjay Place area near Hari Parvat Police Station. As per reports, the car was zooming past so fast that the vehicle went up the stairs and crashed into the restaurant’s door. Apart from the destruction, people were shocked to see the car in such a position. However, there were no casualties.
As per the police, the incident took place around 1:00 am on Monday. Reportedly, the car’s driver was driving under the influence of alcohol. The over-speeding vehicle crashed into the restaurant’s entrance. Since it was so late at night, the restaurant was closed and no customer or staff was present inside. Otherwise, it could have quickly turned fatal. As for the driver, what saved his life after such a dangerous crash were the airbags. He sustained minor injuries but is safe. Apart from this, the car and the restaurant’s entrance are completely damaged.

As per reports, there were three persons in the car, including driver Arjun Hawre, Ronit Chittamwar and Sanket Bawankule at the time of the accident. The Audi first collided with Jitendra Sonkamble’s car filed a complaint at 1 am and then it hit a moped which left two youngsters injured. As it moved towards the Mankapur area, it struck a few more vehicles, at T-point it hit a Volkswagen Polo. The official said the occupants of the Audi were reportedly returning from a beer bar in Dharampeth when the incident took place. The blood tests will detect alcohol levels in the body.
