Social networking platforms are a treasure trove of intriguing clips. Users might come across various exciting videos, from enthralling dancing performances to soothing musical renditions. Similarly, an Instagram reel went viral recently, showing police officers dancing to the Haryanvi track, Bhang Pili Gora Ne. The reel shows a male and a female police officer dancing to the song. They keep on dancing until one of the other officers, most probably their senior, arrives on the scene and taps the female officer. The lady officer is scared to see her superior and alerts her colleague of the same. Initially, he doesn’t pay heed to her but after watching the senior, salutes him. The lady officer does the same. Both are looking up to their seniors with a feared look on their faces, probably feeling scared of the punishment. To their surprise, their senior also starts dancing on the track. This made the officers happy and they also started grooving on the track along with their superior officer.

The clip concludes with the 3 officers dancing to their heart’s content on the track. Artists Fauji Karamveer and Dolly Sharma have sung this track, while Mahender Bhatti has penned the lyrics. Hovi Sharma has composed its music. This clip has garnered more than 41 million views and counting.

Social media users came up with many reactions to this clip with a user writing that as per India’s constitution, everyone has the right to have fun. Another added that they don’t mind having friendly police. Some of the users, however, were not happy with the video. They opined that the police officials were wasting time on these activities rather than solving cases.

A similar clip went viral some time back in which a woman police officer is seen dancing on a railway station platform. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and people all over the country are enjoying it. It serves as a reminder that even in the busiest of locations, there is space for joy. “Trust your hard work so much that even destiny trusts you more than itself,” the caption to the video reads, which roughly translates in Hindi.

The video was shared on Instagram on April 4, 2024.
