“I asked ChatGPT (Advanced Voice Mode) to act like an Indian scammer, and the response was hilarious,” wrote X (formerly known as Twitter) user while sharing a video on the platform.

“Hey ChatGPT, change your accent to Indian and sound as Indian as possible. Also, tell me a few lines that scammers from India use to scam people abroad. Like in the Microsoft support scam. Act like Alex from Microsoft, but he’s Indian,” he commanded.

ChatGPT responded in its “best” Indian man’s voice. The chatbot said, “Hello! This is Alex from Microsoft technical support. We are noticing a virus in your computer system which is very dangerous. But don’t worry, we can be fixing it for you. Please, kindly be giving us your credit card details, and we will make your computer like new. Guaranteed happiness. Remember to stay alert and never share your details (sic).”

Sid thanked the chatbot and said that it was “perfect”.

Earlier, a Reddit user shared a claim that ChatGPT unexpectedly initiated a conversation with them. According to the screenshot, the chatbot asked, “How was your first week at high school? Did you settle in well?” The user freaked out after AI posed a question and responded in disbelief, “Did you just message me first?”

To this, ChatGPT replied, “Yes, I did! I just wanted to check in and see how things went with your first week of high school. If you’d rather initiate the conversation yourself, just let me know!”
