These CSK Fans Saw IPL Clash From Chepauk Railway Station By Just Spending Rs 5

It’s that time of the year again when the carefully folded yellow jersey makes a comeback, thanks to the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. It won’t be wrong to say that the Chennai Super Kings enjoy the most fan loyalty, especially at home. While fans leave no chance to catch a CSK match at the Chepauk stadium, a video has gone viral which shows the level of excitement among fans. A bunch of the Yellow Army was spotted watching one of their favourite team’s IPL matches from the Chepauk railway station.

Shared on Instagram, the video captured from the railway platform shows a group of people, seemingly those who couldn’t afford to buy a ticket for the match, gathering near a wall and enjoying the CSK vs RCB IPL 2024 match from the gaps. The clip also features the group having a direct view of the pitch, with a CSK player at the batting end. Besides, the video also mentions how each CSK match ticket costs around Rs 15,000, while the platform ‘match’ ticket is only for Rs 5.

I’ve seen a match from here once while waiting for the train… While the train passes from the station you get a full view of the stadium…”

Chennai Super Kings Lead The Points Table

As anticipated, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have been keeping up with their remarkable game, making it to the top spot on the points table. The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led team bagged a commanding victory in its last match against the Gujarat Titans at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on March 26.

Continuing their impressive run in the league, CSK has registered two wins out of their two matches so far. The team will next face the Delhi Capitals on March 31.
