Bianca Belair's Knee Injury Gets Worse During Queen Of Ring Semi-Final Bout Against Nia Jax At SmackDown
Bianca Belair was clearly struggling with her knee and her injury might have worsened after her Queen of the Ring semi-final bout against Nia Jax.

The WWE women’s tag-team champion Bianca Belair crashed out of the upcoming Queen of the Ring tournament after losing the semi-final at the latest event of Friday Night SmackDown on May 24. It was mostly due to a knee injury, which Belair sustained earlier at the beginning of the tournament. Despite the struggle, the 35-year-old managed to overcome many stars including Tiffany Stratton. She finally surrendered to Nia Jax in the last assignment ahead of the finale. WWE is set to host the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event (PLE) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, this Sunday.

Bianca Belair was desperate to feature in the final of the women’s tournament as the winner would have a chance to take a shot at the world title at the next SummerSlam. Nia Jax was perhaps well aware of her weakness as she kept targeting her injured knee during the semi-final clash. The plan clicked as Belair once collapsed on the ring and had to seek assistance from the referee.

Nia Jax started the Queen of the Ring semi-final on a dominant note. Following a brutal splash, she dragged Bianca Belair by the knee. Jax smashed her opponent on the ring post before locking her in a stretch muffler. Belair could have broken the hold but was immediately attacked with a Samoan Drop for a near fall.

The tag-team champ then countered with a flying crossbody and the attempt took a toll on her knee injury. Belair wanted to follow the move with the KOD but failed to do so. She was seen struggling with pain which allowed Jax to unleash the final blow. Belair tried a senton but Jax sealed the deal with the iconic Annihilator.

After the in-ring segment was wrapped up, Bianca Belair was taken to backstage where she was confronted by Candice LeRae and Tiffany Straton. Belair’s tag-team partner Jade Cargill came forward and challenged LaRae and Indi Hartwell to a tag-team match.

The championship clash is slated to be part of the kick-off show at the King and Queen of the Ring event. Though the match has already been booked, it remains doubtful how Belair will be able to participate with her injured knee.
