WWE’s weekly episode of Monday Night RAW returned yesterday, July 15. The live event emanated from the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio and featured some exciting updates about WWE SummerSlam. The night kicked off with some big brawling action as the Celtic Warrior Sheamus squared off against Bronson Reed. Four more matches followed next featuring stars like Damian Priest, Jey Uso and Soniya Deville. Women’s tag-team action saw Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark take on Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Finally, the main event of yesterday’s RAW episode witnessed Sami Zayn defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Ilja Dragunov.
Drew McIntyre returns after suspension
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce introduced Drew McIntyre to the ring who walked out in a leather Kilt. Just as he entered the ring, a massive CM Punk chant erupted. The Scotsman told the fans that he was ready to conduct business. He then asks Pearce to make it official but the manager wanted McIntyre to apologise first. After moments of disagreement, Seth Rollins ran down to the ring and began brawling with the Scotsman. McIntyre had to retreat through security as he stormed off.
Chad Gable calls out Bo Dallas
Chad Gable began the segment by saying he knew that Bo Dallas was playing Uncle Howdy. He then asked Dallas to come out before everyone and not make him wait. Dallas soon walked out with no music and got blindsided by Brutus and Julius Creed. Amid the attack, the lights went out and when they came back on the Wyatt Sicks surrounded the ring. Dallas laughed and extended his arms like his brother once used to.
Sami Zayn retains his WWE Intercontinental Championship
The match began with the duo circling the ring. After exchanging some blows, Dragunov tried to hit Zayn with a flying senton but he countered. Zayn then grabbed Dragunov on the apron before punching him. Dragunov fought back using a headbutt. However, Zayn hit the challenger with a Helluva Kick that knocked him off the apron to the floor. Next, Breaker walked out and speared Dragunov at ringside leading to a disqualification.

‘Big’ Bronson Reed vs Sheamus – Sheamus won the match using the Jumbo Tsuruta rising knee.
Soniya Deville vs Zelina Vega – Deville won the clash by pinfall after hitting Vegga with the Deville’s Advocate.
Braun Strowman vs Damian Priest – Priest sealed a victory using the South of Heaven.
Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark vs Katana Chance and Kayden Carter – Baszler and Star win using the Lateral Press on Chance.
Dominik Mysterio vs ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso – Jey beat Dominik using the Diving Splash.
Ilja Dragunov vs Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Championship – Dragunov won by disqualification leading to Zayn retaining his title.
