KGF star Yash is celebrating his 38th birthday today, January 8. His birthday is a day of grand celebration for his fans. Meanwhile, as per the latest report, three men were electrocuted in Karnataka’s Gadag district. It is said that they were installing a flex to celebrate their favourite actor, Yash’s, birthday.
According to the report, the deceased were Hanumanth Harijan, 24, Murali Naduvinamani, 20, and Naveen Gaaji, 20. Around one in the morning, the accident occurred in Suranagi village in the Laxmeshwar taluk of the Gadag district.
“Three of them were electrocuted and three were injured while putting up the banner,” stated Babasaheb Nemagouda, Superintendent of Police, Gadag. He further said the banner had a metal frame that was in contact with a HESCOM wire. A case has been launched at the Lakshmeshwar Police Station. We will investigate this soon.”
The three injured individuals were promptly sent to the district hospital to receive additional medical attention.
Chandru Lamani, Shirhatti MLA, who visited the spot, said, “We request the public not to erect any metallic frame banners. I also request that Yash visit the families of the deceased.”
However, KGF star Yash earlier said in an X post on January 4 that he would not be able to meet his fans on January 8 as he would be away. He had written a letter to his fans and said that he would be filming for his upcoming movie Toxic and would be travelling abroad for its shooting schedule.
In the letter, Yash wrote, “I know many of you are waiting to meet me on my birthday in person… Trust me when I say this: being able to be with you all is one of the things I treasure the most. But we may have to wait a bit longer since I will be away on January 8th. Even though it is not in person, every single wish from you is and will always be very special. Love, Yash (sic).”
Geetu Mohandas is directing Yash’s next big-budget movie, Toxic, which is being produced on a grand scale. It is said to be released worldwide on April 10, 2025.
