The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has announced the Assam HS Result 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the AHSEC 12th exams 2024 can access the results on the official website of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council — ahsec.assam.gov.in. Additionally, the AHSEC HS results will be available on various platforms including results.assam.nic.in, and indiaresults.com. To make the process even more convenient, students can also access their results through SMS service and the Upolobdha mobile app.
This year’s overall pass rate for the Assam board Class 12 Exams is 88.64 per cent.
90.29 per cent of students in the Science stream passed the exam, compared to 88.24 per cent of students in the Arts stream. On the other hand, the pass percentages for Commerce and Vocational students are 88.28 per cent and 85.78 per cent, respectively.

How to check Assam HS results 2024?
Step 1: Go to the official website at resultsassam.nic.in and ahsec.assam.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the “Assam HS 12th Result 2024” link.
Step 3: As a new window opens, enter your roll number and click on submit.
Step 4: The Assam Board Class 12 Results 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Check and download the result.

Assam HS 12th result 2024: Statistics
AHSEC conducted the class 12 exams from February 12 to March 13, 2024, across various exam centers in Assam state. A total of 280,216 candidates took the exam, with 139,486 being male candidates and 142,732 being female candidates. Among the total candidates, over 206,467 students appeared from the Arts stream, 54,287 from Science, and 17,582 from Commerce.
Assam HS 12th result 2024: Re-checking of Answer Sheets
AHSEC allows students to send their answer scripts for re-evaluation through the council’s website after two days from the declaration of results. Last year, it also allowed students to obtain photocopies of their answer sheets after ten days from the declaration of results.
Assam HS 12th result 2024: What happened last year?
In 2023, AHSEC recorded an overall pass percentage of 84.96 percent in the science stream, 79.57 percent in commerce and 70.12 percent in the arts. A total of 46,383 students appeared in the class 12 board exams, and only 39,405 students passed the exams. In 2022, the overall pass percentage for science students was 92.19 per cent. The arts stream achieved 83.48 percent, and commerce students achieved 87.26 percent. Baksa district was the top performing district last year.

Sankalpajit Saikia from Nagaon has topped the Class 12 Arts stream by scoring 490 marks. Nikhilesh Dutta, a non-institutional private candidate has topped the Science stream with 484 marks. Varsha Bothra and Sukanya Kumar has topped the Commerce stream, both of them have got 472 marks.
